How'd that happen...did the entire platform MOVE?!  Is this whole place alive?
It doesn't make sense...the gap extended as I jumped!  I couldn't have tripped...did something snag my ankle?
*loud sigh*
This is just great.  Perfect.  Trying to get away from...everything...and here I am stuck in a split with my legs straight out over...a very dark hole.  Doesn't hurt, done this enough...but how am I going to get to either side now?
*slight whirring sound*
Hm...whoa, gotta keep my balance.  Just have to use my arms to stay upright...#$%& I can't use them!  Whoa...whoooooooooaaaaaaaa...

DAMNIT!!!  Oh, this is wonderful now!  Hanging upside-down in a straitjacket with just a foot latched onto both platforms!  For crying out loud, what's next?!

*screeching laughter over whirling noises*
