Wc3 Custom: Blood Raynger

If you want to consider this one a 'diversion' from the recent type of images, feel free. Pardon the size...

I mentioned that I might show a few more of my older attempts at custom skins from 'Warcraft 3' and its expansion 'The Frozen Throne'.

As the title says, this sadly unfinished skin, 'Blood Raynger', is obviously based on the lovely Rayne from 'BloodRayne'. The underlying model was the HeroArcher/ShandrisFeathermoon/SylvanasWindrunner/DarkRanger framework back in Wc3.

An archer probably isn't the class you'd expect to see Rayne translated into, but the 'pun' of the name I though was somewhat witty. And I worked in a few details of her general outfit design, like the red stitching of her leather corset and the little Brimstone symbol on her bow. And I like the crimson cloak sorta...

Unfortunately, not only wasn't the skin never totally finished (and hence, used in any custom maps), but this screenshot I'm showing her wasn't even the most recent of the model (I simply can't find any of the skin screenshots past this one, and I don't have the Wc3 model viewer program available to take new ones - I do have the blp for the skin still of course).

One major difference between this shot and the 'current' skin was the removal of the goofy fangs 'painted' on her lower lip. Obviously it looked very wrong when the portrait 'talked'.

Eh, just something different...and nothing is wrong with seeing more of Rayne/Bloodrayne, is there? ^^
